Head Coach
Raquel Pointer
Raquel Pointer, our brilliant Head Coach, brings a strategic mindset to every play. With Raquel leading the way, every performance becomes an exhilarating experience. Raquel has over 11 years of cheer experience. From very first starting at the boys and girls club of West Memphis AR, then going on to west Jr. High where she cheered, and took gymnastics Leading unto high school where she was a competitive cheerleader for Cheer City United, A team that took 1st place in nationals. Raquel was a previous cheerleading coach for Promise Academy just shortly until she decided to branch off and start her very own squad!
Our Story
At GlamorousGrenades, we offer a unique cheerleading experience that is centered around teamwork, skill-building and uniformity. Our monthly dues of $150 include everything you need to participate, including uniforms, cheer bags and traveling expenses. We hold tryouts in mid April so that we can start preparing for the upcoming season in August. Our month-long cheer camp is designed to help cheerleaders develop their skills and bond as a team.
